PowerPoint: The Instructor/Curriculum Development Course
Course Description
- This 32-hour course of instruction is designed to provide public safety and law enforcement instructor skills to advance their technical and classroom presentations skills utilizing PowerPointŪ. The lead instructor for this course is Thomas Manson, a nationally recognized law enforcement technical trainer from Police Technical Inc. Mr. Manson has provided instructor skill development courses utilizing PowerPointŪ to thousands of law enforcement trainers across the country.
Course Objective
- Students will gain effective communication skills, proven teaching methods and leadership fundamentals with an added emphasis on successfully using PowerPointŪ software in the public safety classroom.
Note:
- Students will need to provide their own laptop computers and have PowerPointŪ software loaded. Any version (97 through 2010) will be required. It is recommended that students register for this course early, as this course is very popular and presented only once a year through the ATC.
