San Diego Regional Office & Imperial Field Office
The BII San Diego Regional Office provides investigative law enforcement support to law enforcement in the California-Mexico border counties of San Diego and Imperial. The San Diego region includes a BII Imperial Field Office. BII regional services include a Foreign Prosecution Unit that assists in locating and filing of criminal charges on fugitives in Mexico under Article IV of the Mexican Constitution and Sexual Predator Apprehension Team. The BII San Diego Regional Office serves as the task force commander for SAFE and the San Diego/Riverside Hi-Tech Crimes Task Force, Identity Theft Section.
