This electronic reporting process replaces the filing of hard copy forms to report Proposition 65 private enforcement actions to the Attorney General.
The on-line reporting system is launched from the 60-day Notice Search page. Instructions appear below to help you through the process.

NOTE: You must still mail all motions, supporting papers and exhibits to be served on the Attorney General 45 days prior to the date of hearing until further notice.
E-Filing Guide
- On the search web page, enter the AG Number for the specific 60-day Notice for which you are filing a report.
Example: AG Number 2004-00100
- If you do not have the AG Number, search the database to find the AG Number and select the specific 60-day Notice you need
- On the page displaying specific 60-day Notice information, select the type of report action you want.

- Enter your information into the selected report form and submit electronically.
State law requires any person suing "in the public interest" to enforce Proposition 65, "The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986", to notify the Attorney General of the lawsuit and outcome of the case.
This site provides an on-line process for reporting Proposition 65 private enforcement actions in compliance with California Health and Safety Code Section 25249.7 (d) (e) and (f). See "Electronic Filing Now Available" on this page for details.
Beginning June 27, 2005, all reports on Proposition 65 private actions must be filed electronically with the Attorney General's Office.

Annual Summaries of Private Settlements
These documents summarize all settlements of Proposition 65 cases brought by private plaintiffs since January 1, 2000. The summaries are based on reports submitted to the Attorney General pursuant to SB 1269 (1999) and SB 471 (2001). The data show total penalties, attorney fees and other funds collected. Also included is a brief description of actions defendants were required to take to remedy alleged violations. Copies of individual settlements are available on request.
